Ty Zimmerman
Ty grew up in Junction City, Kansas, where he was involved in sports and met his wife Mandy. He went on to play football at Kansas State University as a Defensive Back from 2010-2013 and was a junior on the Big 12 Championship team in 2012! After graduating from KSU, Ty was signed as a free agent to the New Orleans Saints and spent the 2014 season on Injured Reserve. After being released from the Saints in 2015, Ty began teaching and coaching at his alma mater in Junction City. It was during this time that he came to know Jesus and felt God call him into ministry! Currently, Ty works for Fellowship of Christian Athletes as an Area Representative in the Manhattan/Junction City area, reaching Coaches and Athletes for Jesus. He and his wife have 2 children together, Brinley (3) and Ezra (1). They attend University Christian Church and enjoy anything outdoors as a family! We’re excited for him to share with our high schoolers about the VICTORY that is ours in Jesus.
University Worship
University Worship is a worship team assembled by University Christian Church in Manhattan. University Worship did an excellent job engaging our middle school students in 2018, and we’re honored to have them with Oasis High School this year! University Worship is committed to excellence and has a deep desire to see students connect with God with high energy, high impact times of worship through song.

ABOUT OASIS
In 2005, the Kansas Christian Teen Convention became Oasis, with the desire to be a weekend experience for Middle and High School students to experience Jesus in a powerful way and be encouraged and strengthened to impact their world for His Kingdom. In the time since, we've seen God move in the hearts of students and seen this event grow year over year. We've been able to partner with speakers and artists such as Bob Goff, Trip Lee, Carlos Whitaker, Mark Moore, Jeff Walling, Eric Samuel Timm, and the Jordan Howerton Band to be able to create an event done with excellence with space for God to do a powerful work. In 2018, with feedback from wonderful youth workers from across the midwest, we moved to 2 conferences to better meet the unique challenges facing Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers.
We’re excited to work through VICTORY with our High School students in 2019! God has given us all we need for a life of godliness in Jesus, and in him alone are we truly victorious! We will unpack the work of Jesus and our response to it as Paul describes in Romans 8:31-38 through the weekend, all while celebrating this victory together!
