Jordan Howerton Band

The Jordan Howerton Band has led thousands of students and adults closer to Jesus through engaging and high energy worship music. They not only bring excellence in their music, but teach students what a heart seeking Jesus looks like as they lead students. They love to take time to meet students outside of worship sessions, and have a rare way of connecting with students from a variety of walks of life.
In addition to work with JHB, Jordan is currently on staff with Christ's Church of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ. The

Jordan Howerton Band has played for various conferences including CIY, PlanetWisdom, and Simply Youth Conference and has been with us at Oasis several times. We were honored to have them with us again in March 2019!

Manhattan Christian College - Howie’s Activity Center

In 2005, the Kansas Christian Teen Convention became Oasis, with the desire to be a weekend experience for Middle and High School students to experience Jesus in a powerful way and be encouraged and strengthened to impact their world for His Kingdom. In the time since, we've seen God move in the hearts of students and seen this event grow year over year. We've been able to partner with speakers and artists such as Bob Goff, Trip Lee, Carlos Whitaker, Mark Moore, Jeff Walling, Eric Samuel Timm, and the Jordan Howerton Band to be able to create an event done with excellence with space for God to do a powerful work. In 2018, with feedback from wonderful youth workers from across the midwest, we moved to 2 conferences to better meet the unique challenges facing Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers.
